Two men have been charged following separate fatal road accidents that took place over the weekend. In the first tragic incident, a 40-year-old woman was killed on September 26 along Kings Road in Vitogo. The driver involved in this case has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and driving without a valid license. He appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court on September 29 and was granted bail, with a subsequent court date set for November 4.

The second incident involved the death of a 10-year-old girl in a car accident in Navola, Korolevu, on September 27. The girl’s father, a 41-year-old man, has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death. He appeared in Sigatoka Magistrates Court and was also granted bail, with his next court appearance scheduled for November 26.
