Tuvalu’s Prime Minister, Feleti Teo, has praised Taiwan for its innovation, compassion, and democratic values, calling these characteristics an inspiration to the global community. Speaking during Taiwan’s National Day festivities at Niutao Hall in Funafuti, Teo wished Taiwan congratulations and highlighted the established partnership between Tuvalu and the Republic of China (Taiwan), which has flourished for more than forty years based on mutual values including freedom, democracy, and respect.
Teo expressed gratitude for Taiwan’s unwavering support in critical areas such as education, health, renewable energy, agriculture, and digital development.
