Bonded students sponsored by the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) can now take advantage of newly established Guarantor Delisting Kiosks at Nadi International Airport. Positioned in the International Arrivals Concourse near the baggage exit, these kiosks aim to facilitate the delisting of guarantors for students returning from abroad.

According to TSLS Chief Executive Dr. Apisalome Movono, the introduction of these two kiosks presents a user-friendly, self-service solution for students coming back under a “Temporary Travel Release.” As part of their bond conditions, students traveling internationally are required to obtain a release letter and designate guarantors, who are subsequently added to the Immigration Stop Departure List during the student’s travels.

It is crucial for students to delist their guarantors right after returning, and these kiosks significantly enhance this process by eliminating the need for visits to TSLS offices. The kiosks are designed to be both secure and efficient, allowing the delisting procedure to be completed in under two minutes. This improvement not only expedites the process for students but also alleviates any potential disruptions to the travel plans of their guarantors.

The implementation of these kiosks at the airport illustrates TSLS’s commitment to providing effective solutions for students and ensuring smoother transitions upon their return from overseas studies.
