Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has shared manipulated images on social media that suggest pop star Taylor Swift and her fans are supporting him in the upcoming U.S. election.

The posts include AI-generated deepfakes sourced from right-wing accounts known for spreading misinformation. Accompanying the images was a message from Trump stating, “I accept!”

One image portrays enthusiastic Swift fans, commonly referred to as Swifties, donning T-shirts that read “Swifties for Trump.” Another features a depiction of Swift styled as Uncle Sam, reminiscent of a World War I Army recruitment poster, urging voters to support Trump.

A third image presents a fabricated headline labeled “satire,” asserting that Swift’s fans shifted their allegiance to Trump following the cancellation of one of her concerts in Vienna earlier this month due to pressure from hardline groups.

Swift has not made any public endorsements for the upcoming presidential election and previously supported the Democratic Party in 2020. She was vocal in her criticisms of Trump during his presidency, especially in response to the nationwide protests that erupted after the murder of George Floyd by police officers. In a tweet from 2020, she challenged Trump, saying, “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? We will vote you out in November.”

As of now, Swift has not responded to Trump’s recent posts. These images are part of a series of AI-generated visuals Trump has been sharing as he navigates the contentious presidential campaign known for its misinformation.

On Sunday, Trump also posted an AI-generated image depicting vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris speaking at a supposed communist rally at the Democratic National Convention occurring in Chicago this week. Additionally, he shared a deepfake video featuring him dancing to the Bee Gees’ song “Stayin’ Alive” alongside billionaire Elon Musk, who has publicly endorsed Trump.

Last week, Trump made false claims regarding a legitimate photo of a campaign rally attended by Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in Detroit, asserting it was also AI-generated. He commented on his platform, Truth Social, “Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport? There was nobody at the plane, and she ‘A.I.’d’ it, and showed a massive ‘crowd’ of so-called followers, BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST!”
