The Trump Organization has officially launched Trump Mobile, a new mobile phone service that marks the family’s entry into the telecommunications market. This announcement coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Donald Trump’s inaugural presidential campaign.
With a monthly plan priced at $47.45—a nod to Trump’s positions as the 45th and 47th president—Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, expressed enthusiasm about providing hard-working Americans with an affordable wireless service that reflects their values and offers reliable quality.
Trump Mobile includes a comprehensive 5G service, branded as “The 47 Plan,” which claims to provide the same coverage as the top three U.S. wireless carriers: Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T. Customers can enjoy unlimited talk, text, and data, along with additional perks such as roadside assistance, telehealth services, and free international calling to over 100 countries, though unlimited texting may be subject to data limits.
In addition to the service itself, Trump Mobile will offer a smartphone known as “The T1 Phone.” This device features a gold finish, built-in camera, and 256 gigabytes of storage, with the American flag and “T1” inscribed on the back. The mobile plan is available immediately, while the T1 Phone is set to be released in August at a price of $499, requiring a $100 down payment.
The venture is being spearheaded by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., along with a dedicated team from Trump Mobile. An executive from the Trump Organization emphasized their commitment to putting “America first” with high-quality service, stating that the company is based in the United States to meet customer expectations.
This strategic move not only diversifies the Trump brand but also capitalizes on the growing demand for telecommunications services in the U.S., potentially providing an affordable option for consumers looking for alternatives.
