Trump Calls Out ABC News: “I’m Not the Loser!”

By Wednesday morning, former President Donald J. Trump made it clear how he felt about his contentious performance in the ABC News debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’m not the loser. ABC is the loser,” he stated in a live interview on “Fox & Friends.” During the interview, Trump criticized the network’s moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, accusing them of bias. He described ABC as “the most dishonest news organization” in his opinion.

Trump claimed that ABC “lost a lot of credibility” and “took a big hit,” suggesting they should feel embarrassed for fact-checking several of his responses while not holding Harris to a similar standard. He even went so far as to suggest that the network should lose its broadcasting license.

In a surprising twist, Trump remarked that he missed his previous engagements with CNN, stating, “CNN was much more honorable.” This comments come from a former president who has consistently accused the network of media bias. He added that the debate he had with Biden in June was “much more honorable,” despite it being a tough time for Biden.

The “Fox & Friends” team saw an opportunity to encourage Trump to commit to a debate on their network, something Fox News has pursued for several months. Anchor Steve Doocy mentioned the possibility of hosting a Fox debate featuring the network’s leading political anchors, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
