As of 7 PM CDT (0000 UTC), the depression is tracking west-northwest at a speed of 7 mph, with maximum sustained winds reaching 30 mph and the potential for some intensification. It is anticipated to strengthen into a tropical storm prior to making landfall along the Mexican coast on Sunday night, subsequently moving further inland on Monday.
