John Travolta’s youngest child, Ben Travolta, is reportedly the great-grandson of Elvis Presley through an egg donation from Riley Keough, the granddaughter of the music icon. This revelation emerged amidst ongoing litigation involving Priscilla Presley’s former business associates.
Court documents filed by Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko allege that Keough received compensation ranging from $10,000 to $20,000, as well as an “old Jaguar,” in exchange for her egg donation that led to Ben’s birth in 2013. Kruse and Fialko are currently suing Priscilla Presley’s son, Navarone Garcia, for breach of contract, while also pursuing a separate case against Priscilla for fraud and breach of contract.
Initially, there had been discussions about an egg donation from Lisa Marie Presley, who would have been in her early 40s during the time Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston were attempting to conceive. However, that arrangement fell through, as Travolta reportedly expressed concerns about the suitability of the eggs. Subsequently, an agreement was made with Riley Keough, permitting her to donate her eggs for the process.
A handwritten note outlining the terms of the alleged agreement between Travolta and Keough has surfaced as part of the legal filings. Ben Travolta entered the world in November 2010, marking his arrival as the third child for the couple, who also experienced profound losses; their eldest child Jett died tragically in 2009, followed by Kelly Preston’s passing in 2020 after a battle with breast cancer. Their daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, continues to pursue a career in the arts as an actor, singer, and model.
In response to these claims, Priscilla Presley’s attorney, Marty Singer, has labeled the allegations put forward by Kruse and Fialko as “shameful,” asserting that they are merely attempts to deflect liability from significant issues facing Priscilla. He described their tactics as unethical, stating that these allegations have no relevance to the claims at hand and emphasized they will be contested in court.
The legal disputes involving the Travolta family highlight the complex dynamics and personal histories intertwined within these high-profile families, reminding us that even the world of celebrity is not exempt from challenges and disputes.
