Travis Scott Drops Teaser for ‘Jackboys 2’ – What to Expect?

Travis Scott is set to launch his much-anticipated Cactus Jack compilation album “Jackboys 2” on Sunday, July 13. This announcement follows months of speculation and teasers shared by the artist on social media. The new project will be hosted by legendary rapper Bun B and will include a total of 17 tracks, which Scott describes in a flier as “full of trunk rattling classics in the making.”

The first hints of “Jackboys 2” surfaced during a performance in Miami back in March. Following that, Scott shared a visually captivating trailer directed by Harmony Korine in April, generating even more excitement about the album. In addition, various artists featured on the compilation—such as Tyla, Waka Flocka Flame, 21 Savage, GloRilla, SoFaygo, SahBabii, Vybz Kartel, and Kodak Black—have posted images alongside custom Lamborghinis branded with the album’s logo.

Adding to the excitement, Travis Scott recently released a music video for “2000 Excursion,” featuring contributions from Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. He has also made multiple versions of cover art available for purchase on the Jackboys webstore, catering to fans who prefer vinyl and digital formats.

This upcoming project follows the success of the original “Jackboys,” released in 2019, which showcased the talent within Scott’s Cactus Jack label, established in 2017. The first album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured popular singles like “Had Enough,” “Highest in the Room (Remix),” and “Out West” featuring Young Thug. Travis Scott’s most recent solo effort, “Utopia,” was released in July 2023.

As fans eagerly await “Jackboys 2,” there is a palpable sense of excitement in the air, suggesting that another groundbreaking project could be on the horizon for Travis Scott and his collaborators.
