Authorities are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination following the tragic discovery of a 15-year-old boy’s body in Tamaivua-i-Wai. The deceased has been identified as a student from Samabula.
The teenager had been missing since Christmas Eve, when he left home with friends to head to Suva City but failed to return. As the hours turned to days, his family grew increasingly concerned and took it upon themselves to search for him within the local community and among relatives and friends. Only after these efforts did they officially report him missing to the Samabula Police Station.
