Tragic Plane Crash Claims Two Lives in Nampa: Investigation Underway

The Canyon County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of the two victims who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Nampa on June 27. The deceased have been identified as Jestene Leroy, aged 30, and Brandon Leroy, aged 43.

Life-saving efforts were unfortunately unsuccessful, and both individuals were pronounced dead at the crash site due to multiple blunt force injuries. The incident took place around 5:41 p.m. when the aircraft collided with an unoccupied outbuilding situated in a residential area on N. Venice Street. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among those on the ground, highlighting the luck of bystanders in an otherwise tragic event.

The Nampa Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash. While no additional details have been released, Jennifer Crawford, the Canyon County Coroner, expressed heartfelt condolences to the families and friends affected by this incident, stating, “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
