A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night in Yuba County, where two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle, resulting in the death of an 82-year-old man. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident took place just before 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of N. Beale Road and Park Avenue in Linda.

The victims, an 82-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, were using a designated crosswalk when they were hit by a 32-year-old driver in a Honda Accord. The elderly man suffered severe injuries and was transported to Sutter Roseville Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
