The body of renowned actor and model Humaira Asghar was discovered in her Karachi apartment weeks after her passing. Authorities confirmed the tragic discovery at a flat situated in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of Karachi on Tuesday.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Zone Syed Asad Raza reported that police arrived at the location around 3:15 PM to enforce a court eviction order. When attempts to elicit a response from within the apartment failed, they were forced to break in, where they found the 32-year-old actress deceased. Early assessments indicate that the body may have been there for around 15 days, though the exact cause of death remains undetermined pending an autopsy.
The body has been transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for further examination as part of ongoing investigative procedures. Humaira Asghar was well-regarded for her performances in popular dramas such as “Ehsan Faramosh” and “Guru,” and she actively engaged with her fans on social media.
