Tragic news has emerged from the world of soccer, as Marco Angulo, a promising midfielder for FC Cincinnati, has passed away following a car accident that took the life of his former youth team mate, Roberto Cabezas. Angulo, aged 22, was critically injured in the incident on October 7, which occurred on the Rumiñahui highway near Quito, Ecuador.
Angulo was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a metal barrier. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to both the driver and Cabezas, who had been a player for Independiente Juniors.
