A tragic shooting incident in South Philadelphia resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left nine others injured during the early hours of Monday, marking a violent Fourth of July weekend in the city which saw over a dozen other shootings and stabbings.
The deceased were identified as three men aged 19, 23, and 24. Among those injured were two minors, including a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Reports indicate that most of the injuries were sustained in the arms or legs, although one 19-year-old man was critically hurt with two gunshot wounds to his head.
