The Grêmio football team is set to clash with Fortaleza in a postponed match from the 14th round of the Brasileirão. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 PM at the Arena.
To ensure smooth transit, the Public Transport and Circulation Company (EPTC) and the Urban Train Company of Porto Alegre (Trensurb) will implement a traffic plan for the event. The Arena’s gates are expected to open at 6:30 PM.
Starting at 9 AM, EPTC agents will be stationed around the Arena to assist pedestrians and direct vehicle traffic. Fans who plan to drive should prepare for roadblocks anticipated around 5:30 PM, particularly affecting access via the BR-448 Highway and the Rótula Jornalista Paulo Sant’Anna, which connects various major avenues.
After the match, vehicles parked in sectors E2 and E1 (gates 3 to 5) will be routed towards BR-448, heading toward Porto Alegre–Canoas. Meanwhile, cars parked in sector E1 (gates 1 and 2) will be directed toward Rua Voluntários da Pátria.
For public transportation, the F04 Futebol Arena bus service will depart from Largo Glênio Peres in the Historic Center, beginning at 5:30 PM with a fleet of seven buses for fans heading to the stadium. Post-match, buses will leave from Terminal Leopoldo Brentano back to Largo Glênio Peres.
For those using the T2.3 Transversal 2/Arena buses, services will run according to the usual schedule from Terminal Sul, with departures every few minutes starting from 4:56 PM. Following the game, additional articulated buses will be on standby at Terminal Leopoldo Brentano, depending on passenger demand.
Train commuters can take the service to Anchieta station, about 1.5 kilometers from the stadium, which translates to roughly a 10-minute walk to the Arena.
This match is expected to draw a significant crowd, and the organized transportation plans should help facilitate an enjoyable event for all attendees.
