During her appearance at the summit, Ross revealed that she typically travels with just two pairs of underwear, alongside a bathing suit, flip-flops, and a dress that can easily be rolled up.
In response to Travel + Leisure’s Editor-in-Chief Jacqui Gifford’s surprised inquiry about her minimal underwear choice, Ross explained her method for washing them while on the road. She mentioned that she often uses hotel sinks along with shower gel to hand wash her garments, rinsing them in one sink and hanging them to dry on a towel rack.
On July 18, she further clarified her approach via Instagram, stating, “This is hilarious. I pack two pairs in my carry-on…. in case my luggage doesn’t make it.” She emphasized the space constraints when packing for an extended trip, finding it impractical to carry a month’s worth of underwear.
The World’s Best Summit, which took place from July 15 to July 16, celebrates leading trends in the travel industry, and Ross has been involved in promoting the benefits of solo travel.
