Total Energies Backs Fiji Police Ahead of Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games

Total Energies has officially handed over its sponsorship to the Acting Commissioner of Police, Aporosa Lutunauga, during a ceremony at the Police Headquarters in Suva. This commendable support from the energy company is especially timely as it will significantly aid the Police team’s preparations for the upcoming year’s Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games.

Mr. Lutunauga expressed his heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing that the sponsorship is crucial given the logistical challenges associated with organizing such a major inter-services competition. This year’s Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games are scheduled to commence in Suva from November 17 to 19, before transitioning to Labasa for events on November 20 and 21.

The tournament in Labasa will feature a variety of sporting events, including soccer, a Service Women’s Rugby match, and the main men’s rugby clash, promising an exciting showcase of athleticism and camaraderie among the forces.

This initiative not only supports the sporting events but also underscores the significance of community involvement and social responsibility, themes echoed in similar competitions such as the Ratu Sukuna Bowl which fosters unity and promotes a drug-free environment in Fiji. The collaboration between Total Energies and the Fiji Police Force reflects a shared commitment to positive social impact and community engagement through sports.

As anticipation builds for the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games, the synergy between corporate support and community events shines a light on the positive outcomes of such partnerships, paving the way for a successful and engaging series of competitions.
