Darius Acuff Jr., the top-rated point guard in the nation for the class of 2025, has officially signed a National Letter of Intent with the Arkansas Razorbacks. The announcement was made by Razorbacks’ head coach John Calipari.

Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 180 pounds, Acuff hails from Detroit, Michigan, and previously played at IMG Academy in Florida. His remarkable skill set has earned him five-star ratings across multiple platforms, including 247Sports, ESPN, and On3. According to these rankings, he is recognized as the number one point guard nationally and maintains high positions in state and overall national rankings.

During his junior year, Acuff showcased his talent by averaging 20.4 points and 5.5 assists per game, leading IMG Academy to a successful 20-9 record. He also made his mark in various tournaments, highlighting his ability to perform under pressure. He finished the 2023-24 season with an impressive scoring average of 21.4 points and 3.7 assists in the EYBL Scholastic league and averaged 23.9 points and 3.6 assists during the 2024 Nike EYBL spring circuit.

Acuff has also made waves on the international stage, being named Tournament MVP at the 2024 FIBA Men’s U18 AmeriCup. He led Team USA to a gold medal, averaging 17.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists throughout the tournament. His standout performance in the championship against Argentina included scoring 26 points and providing nine assists, underscoring his abilities as a game-changer.
