Tom Sandoval stirred a fresh wave of speculation among Bravo viewers on the night of The Valley’s Season 3 premiere when he posted an Instagram photo suggesting he might be making a cameo on the spinoff — but whether the Vanderpump Rules alum was serious or pulling an April Fools’ prank remains unclear.
Shortly before midnight on April 1, Sandoval shared a photo of himself at home with what appeared to be a camera crew behind him. He captioned the image, “IT’S OUT!!” and tagged his girlfriend, model Victoria Robinson, adding, “Who’s excited about this season of the Valley w/ Me & @victorialeerobinson?!? 🎥 💥.” The late-night timing prompted immediate skepticism; some fans noted the post coincided with April Fools’ Day, while others pointed out that because it went up after midnight on the U.S. East Coast it could read as an April 2 gag to viewers elsewhere.
Despite the uncertainty, the post generated enthusiastic responses. Hours after it went live, comments poured in from followers urging him to appear: “Omg yes!!!! I’ve been waiting,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Best thing I’ve read today!! So happy for you @tomsandoval1!” Others expressed hope for a televised reunion with former Pump co-stars — “Love the 2 Toms back together on my TV again 😍” — and interest in seeing Sandoval and Robinson on screen together.
Sandoval has previously hinted he was asked to do a brief appearance on The Valley but stopped short of confirming any participation. In an interview with Us Weekly in early March he said producers had approached him for “a quick little cameo” but noted he had not been invited to officially join the cast and that he remained undecided. “I’ve gone back and forth about ‘The Valley,’ you know, wanting to be on it,” he said, adding that any decision would depend on his life at the time. Sandoval also acknowledged Robinson’s reservations, saying she “goes back and forth about it,” describing the reality-TV format as “overwhelming” because of how polarizing and intense fans can be.
The tease comes as Sandoval continues to rebuild a public profile following the so-called “Scandoval” cheating scandal that upended his former relationship and life in the spotlight. Since leaving Vanderpump Rules he has appeared on several other reality programs, including Special Forces, House of Villains and The Traitors, demonstrating a willingness to try varied unscripted formats even as he weighs what projects to pursue next.
The Valley, which features former Vanderpump Rules personalities such as Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent, premiered its third season the same night as Sandoval’s post. As of publication he has not issued a follow-up to clarify whether the Instagram tease signaled an actual cameo or was meant in jest, leaving fans and viewers to parse the timing and social-media hints for clues.
