Tom Holland Confirms Exciting Return as Spider-Man for Fourth Movie!

Tom Holland has confirmed that he will return for a fourth Spider-Man movie, with production set to begin next summer. During his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday, Holland expressed his excitement, stating, “Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there.”

Holland’s last outing as Spider-Man was in 2021’s “No Way Home,” which featured him alongside previous Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. He humorously acknowledged his need to keep that collaboration a secret from Fallon previously, saying, “You totally, without a doubt, professionally lied to us all,” to which Fallon replied that the secrecy was worth it.

He described working with Maguire and Garfield as the “highlight of my career” and shared how they managed to maintain the secrecy. “We were in a bubble,” Holland said, adding that Maguire and Garfield would arrive on set disguised, likening it to a scene from “Star Wars.”

Recently, Holland has been promoting his new non-alcoholic beer, Bero, and during a podcast, he mentioned reading a draft of the “Spider-Man 4” script with his girlfriend and co-star Zendaya. He indicated that while it needs some improvement, the writing team is on the right track. Reports suggest that Destin Daniel Cretton, known for “Shang-Chi,” is in early talks to direct the upcoming sequel, taking over from Jon Watts, who directed the first three films.

Holland shared that reading the script revitalized his enthusiasm, saying, “Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room, like this is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.”
