Compass Offices has announced the pre-launch of its prestigious new business center, the “Compass Office WTC annex,” located in the thriving Minato-ku area of Tokyo, Japan. Set to open in March 2025, this facility invites prospective clients to schedule guided tours, highlighting the growing demand for flexible workspace solutions.
This new venture is a collaborative effort with the World Trade Center Building Center Co., Ltd., aimed at contributing to the redevelopment of the Hamamatsucho area. Kazuya Morikawa, the Country Manager for Compass Offices in Japan, emphasized the project’s goal of not only providing independent office space but also enhancing the local ecosystem and fostering a dynamic work environment as part of the greater World Trade Center development, which is scheduled for completion in 2027.
The Compass Office WTC annex will occupy the entire 11th and 12th floors, offering approximately 560 Tsubo (about 1880 square meters) of flexible workspace including club lounges with panoramic views of Tokyo Tower, advanced meeting rooms equipped with large touchscreen video monitors, and private offices that can accommodate teams ranging from 1 to 50 people.
Strategically located in a central business district, the WTC annex boasts excellent transport links, directly connecting to Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station, thereby facilitating easy access to the city’s public transportation network, including a monorail to Haneda International Airport, which is particularly advantageous for business travelers.
Additionally, the building is designed with modern amenities and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) technologies, ensuring that it can maintain operations for up to 72 hours during emergencies, thanks to features such as seismic dampers, solar panels, and backup generators.
Compass Offices also plans to offer customizable Enterprise Solutions at this location, enabling larger organizations to tailor their office setups to meet specific operational requirements.
Overall, the introduction of the Compass Office WTC annex signifies not only the company’s growing presence in Japan but also its commitment to creating innovative, flexible workspaces that cater to the evolving needs of modern businesses. As Tokyo continues to emerge as a hub for innovation and commerce, this new space may encourage economic growth and foster collaborative opportunities among tenants.
In summary, Compass Offices is on track to enhance Tokyo’s flexible office landscape with the opening of its WTC annex in 2025, reflecting optimism in the future of work.
