Tokyo’s New Business Hub: Exploring the Future of Work at Compass Office WTC Annex

Compass Offices has announced the pre-launch of its new business centre, the “Compass Office WTC annex,” located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Set to open in March 2025, this state-of-the-art facility will enhance their portfolio of flexible office spaces in the region. Prospective clients can now book guided tours of the centre in anticipation of its opening.

The WTC annex is a collaborative project with the World Trade Center Building Center Co., Ltd., contributing to the redevelopment of the Hamamatsucho area, which seeks to create a vibrant business ecosystem. Kazuya Morikawa, the Country Manager of Compass Offices Japan, emphasizes the goal of offering businesses a modern, flexible workspace that aligns with their operational needs while nurturing the area’s growth.

Occupying the 11th and 12th floors, the WTC annex will encompass approximately 560 Tsubo (or 1,880 square meters) and feature an array of modern amenities, including club lounge spaces with scenic views of Tokyo Tower, meeting rooms equipped with advanced technology, and flexible workspace options to accommodate teams of varying sizes.

Strategically situated in Tokyo’s bustling business hub, the WTC annex will connect seamlessly to major transport links, including Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station, providing easy access to public transport, restaurants, and additional amenities. Notably, the site is directly connected to Haneda International Airport via monorail, catering to business professionals who travel frequently.

In a commitment to sustainability, the WTC annex will be equipped with advanced Business Continuity Planning (BCP) technologies capable of sustaining operations without power or water for up to 72 hours in emergencies. Moreover, Compass Offices will tailor its Enterprise Solution for larger organizations, allowing clients to customize their office environments according to their specific needs.

Key features of the Compass Offices at the WTC annex include:
– Prime location in Minato-ku, ensuring a central business presence
– Strong transport links facilitating easy access to and from the centre
– Flexible workspace options designed for scalability
– High-speed internet and modern meeting facilities
– A supportive community that encourages networking and collaboration among tenants

Since its debut in Japan in 2011, Compass Offices has expanded its locations significantly, with plans to open more sites throughout the coming years. The anticipated WTC annex marks a significant step in their growth trajectory in the Japanese market.

Overall, the development of the Compass Office WTC annex represents a promising opportunity for businesses in Tokyo, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration while enhancing the value of the surrounding community. This venture is a hopeful indication of the ongoing revitalization of the area and the adaptability of modern business solutions in a changing economic landscape.
