Compass Offices is excited to announce the pre-launch of its new business centre, the “Compass Office WTC annex,” located in the heart of Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Set to open in March 2025, the centre invites potential clients to schedule guided tours of this elegant space.
This new centre is a collaborative project with the World Trade Center Building Center Co., Ltd., which is focused on revitalizing the Hamamatsucho area. Kazuya Morikawa, Country Manager of Compass Offices Japan, emphasizes the significance of integrating this flexible office space into the broader redevelopment efforts surrounding Hamamatsucho Station. The aim is to enhance the area’s value and create a vibrant working environment as part of the ecosystem surrounding the World Trade Center, which will offer its main facilities in 2027.
The WTC annex will occupy the entire 11th and 12th floors, providing a total space of 560 Tsubo (approximately 1880 square meters). It will feature several amenities, including club lounge areas with stunning views of Tokyo Tower, meeting rooms equipped with 86” touchscreen video monitors, and various workspace configurations to accommodate teams ranging from one to 50 people.
Located in a dynamic part of Tokyo, the WTC annex will not only provide modern office spaces but also luxury residences and event facilities. This makes it a prime location for both professional and personal activities in one of Tokyo’s busiest business districts.
In terms of reliability and safety, the WTC annex will incorporate advanced Business Continuity Planning (BCP) technologies, such as HiDAX-e seismic dampers, solar panels, and backup generators, ensuring that the building can operate without power and water for up to 72 hours in emergencies.
Further, the Compass Offices Enterprise Solution will offer customized office spaces designed to meet the specific needs of larger organizations. Clients will have the freedom to design their environments, including executive suites, team offices, and meeting facilities, tailored to their operational requirements and employee preferences.
Key highlights of the Compass Offices WTC annex include:
– A prime location in the Minato-ku district with convenient public transport access, prestigious amenities, and proximity to Haneda International Airport via the monorail.
– Direct connections to Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station, facilitating easy access to buses, taxis, and secure parking.
– 24/7 secure access to allow businesses to operate at their convenience and scalability options to grow as needed.
– Modern amenities such as high-speed internet and technologically advanced meeting rooms.
– An engaging community atmosphere that promotes networking and collaboration among tenants.
Since entering the Japan market 13 years ago, Compass Offices has established itself as a leading provider of flexible workplaces. The WTC annex marks the company’s fourth location in Japan, with more locations expected to be launched later in 2025. The recent opening of a flagship centre in Inogate Osaka indicates strong demand and reflects Compass Offices’ ongoing commitment and optimism for the Japanese market.
This new venture represents not only a significant expansion for Compass Offices but also promises to enhance the business landscape in Tokyo, fostering a vibrant and collaborative environment conducive to growth and innovation.
