Compass Offices has announced the upcoming launch of its new business centre, the “Compass Office WTC annex,” located in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Set to welcome clients in March 2025, this state-of-the-art facility represents a significant addition to the company’s range of flexible office spaces. Prospective clients are invited to schedule guided tours to explore the offerings of this new workspace.
As a joint initiative with the World Trade Center Building Center Co., Ltd., the WTC annex aims to contribute to the revitalization of the Hamamatsucho area, with plans for further development including the main World Trade Center building set to debut in 2027. Kazuya Morikawa, Country Manager of Compass Offices Japan, highlighted the goal of creating a vibrant work environment that enhances local value and fosters economic activity.
Occupying the entire 11th and 12th floors, the WTC annex will span 560 Tsubo (1,880 sqm) and provide a range of workspace options, including private offices suitable for teams of 1 to 50 people, and meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology. Stunning views of Tokyo Tower from club lounge areas are another notable feature of this premier workspace.
Situated in the bustling Minato-ku district, the WTC annex is designed with modern amenities and seamless connectivity in mind. It offers easy access to public transportation, dining options, and other essential services. The building is directly connected to Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station, enhancing its appeal for business travelers with a direct link to Haneda International Airport via monorail.
Additionally, the WTC annex will incorporate advanced Business Continuity Planning (BCP) technologies. This includes seismic dampers, solar panels, and backup generators, ensuring that the building remains operational for up to 72 hours during emergencies.
Compass Offices also plans to provide customized Enterprise Solutions in the new facility, catering specifically to larger organizations. These tailored offerings allow businesses to design office spaces that meet their specific operational needs and employee preferences.
With a commitment to fostering a collaborative community, Compass Offices promotes networking and partnership opportunities among its tenants. This initiative not only enhances the work environment but also nurtures personal and professional growth.
Having operated in Japan for 13 years, Compass Offices continues to expand its footprint, with the WTC annex marking its fourth location in the country. The company anticipates opening additional sites later in 2025, reflecting a positive outlook for the Japanese market. The successful launch of their flagship centre in Osaka earlier this year further emphasizes their growth and adaptability in a dynamic business landscape.
This new addition reinforces Compass Offices’ status as a leader in flexible workspace solutions in the Asia Pacific region. With a network serving over 20,000 clients across nine cities, the company remains dedicated to providing innovative work environments that cater to varying business needs.
Positive developments in the real estate market are encouraging, and the establishment of the Compass Office WTC annex signals a promising boost to the workspace solutions available in Tokyo, positioning the area as a hub for business innovation and collaboration.
