Tokyo’s New Business Hub: A Game Changer for Flexible Workspaces!

Compass Offices has announced the pre-launch of its new business centre, the “Compass Office WTC annex,” located in the bustling Minato-ku district of Tokyo, Japan. Set to open in March 2025, this state-of-the-art facility is envisioned as a pivotal part of the redevelopment of the Hamamatsucho area, which is undergoing significant transformation, including the main World Trade Center building slated for completion in 2027.

Kazuya Morikawa, Country Manager of Compass Offices Japan, expressed excitement over the project, highlighting its potential to create a vibrant workspace that enhances the value of the Hamamatsucho area. The WTC annex will comprise the entire 11th and 12th floors of the building, covering 560 Tsubo (approximately 1,880 square meters). Features will include chic club lounges with scenic views of Tokyo Tower, advanced meeting rooms equipped with 86” touchscreen monitors, and various flexible workspace options designed for teams ranging from one to fifty individuals.

Located strategically within a modern complex that includes high-end residences and event facilities, the WTC annex promotes a well-rounded business atmosphere. Notably, it is equipped with robust Business Continuity Planning technologies, such as seismic dampers and solar panels, allowing it to operate for up to 72 hours without power or water during emergencies.

Additionally, Compass Offices plans to provide its tailored Enterprise Solutions at the WTC annex. This offering allows larger businesses to customize their office layouts according to specific operational and employee needs, including executive suites, meeting spaces, and breakout areas.

The WTC annex boasts excellent accessibility, being directly linked to Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station, which facilitates transportation to Haneda International Airport via monorail. Its location amidst restaurants and other amenities further enhances its attractiveness to business professionals.

Compass Offices is recognized as a leading provider of flexible workspaces across the Asia Pacific, catering to various clients, from startups to multinational corporations. With the impending launch of the WTC annex, the company aims to reinforce its presence in Japan, expanding its portfolio to four locations and demonstrating a strong commitment to growth in the region.

Overall, the Compass Office WTC annex reflects a forward-thinking approach to modern business needs, providing flexible and well-equipped workspaces that cater to the evolving demands of the corporate world.

This new centre can be seen as a hopeful sign of recovery and growth in the business sector, particularly in the wake of recent global challenges. It emphasizes the trend towards flexible work arrangements and the importance of creating environments that foster collaboration and innovation.
