TLC Star Amy Slaton in Legal Trouble: Shocking Arrest Details Revealed!

Amy Slaton Halterman, a star of TLC’s “1000-Lb. Sisters,” was arrested in Tennessee on Labor Day.

On September 2, police responded to a report of a camel bite incident at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, Tennessee. According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, when deputies arrived, they were met with suspicious odors emanating from a vehicle belonging to a guest.

Slaton Halterman faces charges of illegal possession of Schedule I substances, illegal possession of Schedule VI substances, and two counts of child endangerment, as stated by authorities. The DEA categorizes Schedule I drugs as having no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse, including heroin, LSD, and marijuana. Schedule VI drugs have a low potential for abuse, with examples like Xanax and Valium.

A male passenger named Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was in the vehicle with her, is facing the same charges.

Slaton Halterman, 36, gained fame through her reality show, which premiered in 2020 and concluded its fifth season earlier this year. She and her former husband, Michael Halterman, welcomed their first child, Gage, in November 2020. Just four months after undergoing gastric bypass surgery, Slaton Halterman learned she was pregnant again and expressed her initial disbelief as well as her joy at the news. Their second child, Glenn Allen Halterman, was born in July 2022, but the couple has since divorced.
