The Tennessee Titans faced a disappointing 20-17 defeat against the Indianapolis Colts at Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

Michael Pittman Jr. made a crucial touchdown catch against L’Jarius Sneed with just over seven minutes remaining, securing the lead for the Colts.

Titans quarterback Will Levis had a challenging game, managing only 95 passing yards with 16 completions on 27 attempts.

Veteran Joe Flacco started for the Colts and threw two touchdown passes, one to Josh Downs to initiate the game’s scoring and another to Pittman for the decisive score.

In the aftermath, the Titans fell to a 1-4 record, facing a tough schedule ahead with games against the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions. The Colts improved to 3-3, earning a victory without their starting quarterback, Anthony Richardson.

The Titans’ offense had multiple struggles, including a three-and-out with just over two minutes left in the game. Levis’ pass attempts fell short, forcing a punt that left the Colts with a chance to manage the clock.

After a missed deep opportunity, the Colts again turned the ball over, leading to Levis’ interception by Julian Blackmon following a poorly thrown pass intended for Calvin Ridley, who ended the game without any catches.

The game highlighted critical moments for both teams, including penalties against the Titans that extended Colts drives. The Titans initially showed promise with a touchdown from Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, but inconsistency plagued them throughout the game, especially in the fourth quarter.

As the season progresses, Tennessee needs to regroup quickly as they look ahead to their challenging October matchups.
