TISI Sangam Fiji is making significant strides in its construction efforts with two ambitious projects currently in progress, according to CEO Jai Narayan. One of the highlights is the $8 million Sangam Complex, which is set to be built adjacent to the famous Hindu temple in Nadi.
Mr. Narayan elaborated on the facilities included in the complex, which will feature an 800-capacity conference hall, five office spaces, and eight accommodation units for guests, as well as living quarters for the priests at the Nadi temple. This complex is a major part of TISI Sangam’s capital works aimed at enhancing community services.
In addition to the Sangam Complex, development is also underway at the Sangam College of Nursing in Labasa, where Mr. Narayan announced the completion of the first phase. This phase involved a new lecture hall, and plans for the next building, an extension, are currently being put into action as contracts for the project are being awarded. He noted that the entire project is progressing on schedule, with expectations that the Sangam complex will be completed by February 2026.
The Sangam College of Nursing’s initial project has been successfully completed, and now, with the next phase expected to take about 10 to 12 months, there is much anticipation surrounding its impact on healthcare education in the region.
This dual commitment to significant construction projects reflects TISI Sangam’s dedication to community development and supports a broader trend within Fiji, where educational and communal infrastructures are being emphasized to enhance local opportunities. The completion of these projects stands to not only uplift the community but also provide enduring resources for generations to come, reinforcing a hopeful vision for the future in Fiji.
