The iconic British rock band The Who, known for their classic anthem “My Generation,” is embarking on a farewell tour, titled The Song is Over North American Farewell Tour. This anticipated tour, which is being labeled as a “truly grand finale,” will kick off on August 16 near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and conclude in Las Vegas on September 28.
Fronted by 81-year-old Roger Daltrey and 80-year-old guitarist Pete Townshend, this 16-show tour will feature stops in significant cities like Atlantic City, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, and Seattle. Fans can expect a nostalgic journey through the band’s extensive catalog, which spans six decades and includes timeless hits such as “I Can’t Explain,” “I Can See for Miles,” “Pinball Wizard,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” and “Baba O’Riley.”
Ticket presales will begin via Citi and the Whooligan Fan Club on May 13, with general sales kicking off on May 16. Joining the Whooligan Fan Club not only grants fans exclusive merchandise, including a previously unreleased album “Live at the Oval 1971,” but also early ticket access.
