“The Bear Breaks Records with 23 Emmy Nominations!”

The second season of “The Bear” has made history by receiving 23 Emmy nominations, marking the highest number ever achieved by a comedy series.

The Hulu show is in the running for the Outstanding Comedy category and has nominations for its Emmy-winning stars: Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who are all recognized for their performances in Season 2.

Jeremy Allen White expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “It’s the greatest job I’ve ever had. I love everybody in the cast. I love everybody in the crew. It’s changed my life.” Ayo Edebri praised their show creator and director, Chris Storer, for his artistic vision. Ebon Moss-Bachrach remarked, “I’m very honored. I just take it as a testament to the show.”

Notable guest stars from “The Bear,” such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Olivia Colman, Jon Bernthal, Will Poulter, and Bob Odenkirk, have also received nominations. Additionally, supporting cast members Liza Colón-Zayas and Lionel Boyce are nominated for the first time. Colón-Zayas commented on her character’s connection with the audience, saying, “I love that people relate to her. That they feel like she’s family.”

At the Season 3 premiere, Lionel Boyce shared his excitement, stating, “I’m freaking out on the inside. You can’t see it ’cause I’m wearing an undershirt, but I’m sweating!”

All episodes of the Emmy-nominated Season 2 of “The Bear,” along with the newly released Season 3, are available for streaming on Hulu. Disney owns FX, Hulu, and this station.
