The Art of Crafting Unforgettable Luxury: Inside Jaclyn Sienna India’s World

Jaclyn Sienna India established Sienna Charles, her luxury travel concierge service, in 2008 with the mindset of faking it until she made it. Initially, when potential clients reached out after seeing her articles, India had no customers to serve, but she managed to convince them that her services were in high demand.

Fast forward sixteen years, and her strategy has proven successful. India now caters to high-profile clients, including former President George W. Bush and celebrities like Mariah Carey. Her clientele consists of individuals earning over $100 million annually, who seemingly have everything they need. So, what does India offer that they cannot access themselves?

She believes the key lies in genuine care and emotional intelligence. Drawing from her background as a server, India understands the importance of connecting with people on a personal level. Her extensive network of over 2,000 contacts in the hospitality sector—including yachts, hotels, and upscale restaurants—enables her to create unique and tailored travel experiences.

India explains her process: “My clients articulate their goals, but they lack the tools, time, access, and creativity to bring their visions to life. One of my strengths is grasping their ideas with minimal input and executing them effectively.”

Her approach focuses on delivering authentic and memorable experiences rather than simply securing access to the most extravagant venues. For instance, she does not recommend prestigious restaurants like French Laundry, believing that other options, such as Single Thread Farms, offer more intriguing dining experiences.

Among her unique offerings are a candlelit dinner in Versailles and brunch atop the Arc de Triomphe. India also organizes meals with influential personalities, including breakfast with the Hermes family and lunch with the Fendi family in Rome.

However, she also attends to simpler requests. During Bush’s trip to Ethiopia, she ensured he had familiar comforts like peanut butter and non-alcoholic beer, along with a warm welcome from local children wearing Texas Rangers caps.

India emphasizes her genuine care for others, dedicating her days to talking with various individuals, including cab drivers and restaurant staff, to discover the most interesting experiences for her clients. “Luxury is not the only aspect of the world; it encompasses everything, and my clients seek authentic experiences,” she affirms.
