In a strategic move to invigorate sales as we approach the end of the third quarter, Tesla has unveiled a special offer on its Model 3 for Canadian customers. This promotion comes at a time when Tesla is keen to maintain its momentum, given the challenges faced by a dip in Cybertruck sales.
The offer includes a choice between a $5,000 discount on the purchase price of a Model 3 or the benefit of free Supercharging. The $5,000 discount significantly reduces the cost of Tesla’s Model 3 variations, bringing the Model 3 RWD to $49,900, the Model 3 LR AWD to $56,990, and the Model 3 Performance to $64,990.
However, this enticing deal is exclusive to Canada and comes with a stipulation: the vehicle must be delivered by September 30. Additionally, the discount is applicable only to Model 3 vehicles available in Tesla’s Canadian inventory, not on custom orders. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout for eligible purchases. For those opting for free Supercharging, it is necessary to inform Tesla after placing the order to coordinate the benefit.
This offer cannot be transferred to another vehicle or owner, as it is uniquely tied to the purchaser’s Tesla account.
On the other side of the border in the United States, electric vehicles are set to become more expensive due to the expiration of the federal EV tax credit on September 30. This will see new electric vehicles priced higher by approximately $7,500 due to the loss of the rebate, with the $4,000 credit for used EV purchases also ceasing. In response, EV sales in the US have surged, making July one of the strongest months for electric vehicle sales.
As Tesla continues to innovate and strategize, offers like these not only boost sales but also strengthen the brand’s presence in the dynamic automotive market.
