CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Representative Jeff Burkhart, who served District 75, has tragically passed away at his home in Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call early Friday morning around 7 a.m. to report the discovery of Burkhart’s body.

Burkhart, a dedicated public servant, began his career as a firefighter in Clarksville, eventually becoming an assistant fire chief. In 2008, he entered public service as a member of the Clarksville City Council and was elected to the state legislature in 2022.
