A man, accused of breaking into the Vuniniudrovu Ram Krishna Hanuman Temple in Sawani, was reportedly seen among the temple’s devotees the same evening the break-in was discovered. Sources indicate that the suspect, who is of Indo-Fijian descent, allegedly attempted to deflect attention from himself by describing a vehicle he claimed to have observed near the temple.
As the investigation progressed, police ramped up their efforts to locate the suspect believed responsible for the break-in. K9 units led officers to a residence close to the temple following the discovery of a second break-in that occurred earlier today. According to sources, this individual was the same person who had been spotted at the temple the day before but managed to escape before law enforcement arrived.
Authorities continue to pursue leads in their quest to apprehend the suspect. As investigations unfold, the community remains vigilant, hoping for a swift resolution to the situation. The increased police presence serves as a reminder of the ongoing commitment to ensuring safety and security within the neighborhood.
