For the first time, Telemundo, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will provide live coverage of the Closing Ceremony this Sunday, August 11, from 2:30 PM ET to 6 PM ET on Telemundo, Telemundo.com, the Telemundo App, and Peacock.
The coverage will be hosted by Telemundo’s Olympic presenters, Emmy Award winner Miguel Gurwitz and sports and entertainment host Jessica Carrillo, live from Paris. Presenters Copan Alvarez and Carlota Vizmanos will join the program from Telemundo Center in Miami. Together, they will celebrate the conclusion of 17 historic days of extraordinary athletic achievements by Hispanic athletes.
The Stade de France will be transformed into a gigantic concert hall featuring over a hundred artists, acrobats, dancers, and circus performers. Traditional elements of the Closing Ceremony, such as the display of flags from participating nations, the athletes’ parade, and the handover of the Olympic flag to the Los Angeles 2028 Organizing Committee, will provide memorable moments.
