The eagerly anticipated fourth season of Apple TV’s hit series “Ted Lasso” is set to premiere worldwide in the summer of 2026. In conjunction with this announcement, the streaming service revealed four first-look images showcasing moments from the new season of the acclaimed comedy, which boasts Jason Sudeikis in the lead role as well as serving as an executive producer.
The newly released photos offer a sneak peek at Ted returning to Richmond, as he grapples with an exciting new challenge: coaching a second division women’s football team. Among the images is a glimpse of Ted alongside a new assistant coach, portrayed by Tanya Reynolds, as well as the familiar face of Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt.
Additionally, fans will notice a new actor portraying Ted’s son, Henry, played by Grant Feely after a recasting prior to the fourth season. One of the images captures a moment between Ted and Henry at Mae Green’s Crown & Anchor pub in London, a key location in the series.
A notable photograph features Ted and Rebecca, played by Hannah Waddingham, in front of the Richmond jet, possibly hinting at Rebecca traveling to Kansas to bring Ted back for this new coaching role. In this image, Ted is seen handing Rebecca a box of his renowned homemade biscuits, a charming nod to his character’s culinary flair.
As previously reported, Season 4 of “Ted Lasso” is expected to commence in Kansas, following Ted’s return home at the conclusion of the third season, before he makes his way back to London with Henry for a portion of the journey. Filming initiated in July in Kansas City, the hometown of Sudeikis.
The production also brings back original cast members including Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, who will reprise their cherished roles. New additions to the cast for this season include Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Feely.
In terms of production, Jack Burditt has been brought on board as an executive producer under an overall deal with Apple TV. Sudeikis continues to lead the creative team alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Season 4 is also supported by a talented writing team featuring Brett Goldstein, Leanne Bowen, Sarah Walker, Phoebe Walsh, and others, while Bill Lawrence remains an executive producer through his production company, Doozer Productions, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
With the series developing its narrative and character arcs further, the excitement for Season 4 of “Ted Lasso” is palpable, promising to deliver more of the heartwarming and comedic moments that fans have come to adore.
