Taylor Swift’s Surprise Double Drop: New Music Video and Exclusive BTS Reveal

Taylor Swift has delighted her fans with a double surprise: the release of a music video for her song “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her “Eras Tour.”

On August 20, after wrapping up the final performance of the tour’s European leg in London, the music video debuted on Wembley Stadium’s massive screen as Swift exited the stage. Taylor Nation, an official social media account linked to Swift’s team, announced on X that the video would be available for viewing at 6 p.m. ET.

The music video features Swift and her dancers rehearsing for the “Eras Tour,” which began in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, and has since taken her across the United States, Mexico, South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe.

In various scenes, Swift is shown practicing on sound stages, in the tour’s set, beneath the stage, and backstage with her team.

Fans quickly took to social media to share clips from the London premiere of the music video. One fan on X expressed excitement, writing, “Oh BTS Taylor you are so highly anticipated.” Another added, “We are so ready!”

“I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” is featured on Swift’s album “The Tortured Poets Department,” which was released on April 19, 2024. The song is believed to reflect her experiences performing during emotionally challenging times, likely related to her past relationships. Fans have speculated that the song may reference either Joe Alwyn, who was her partner for six years before their breakup in April 2023, or Matty Healy, whom she was rumored to have dated shortly thereafter.

Currently, Swift is in a relationship with Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, who made a surprise onstage appearance during the “Eras Tour” in June, just before Swift performed “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” in London.

Following the end of the European leg of her tour, Swift will take a nearly two-month hiatus before resuming her tour in Canada and other U.S. cities, ultimately concluding on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver.
