Taylor Swift is marking the conclusion of her international Eras Tour by unveiling the official video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” The singer surprised fans with the release on Tuesday night, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from her tour across Europe.
The video includes scenes of Swift rehearsing the song at a soundstage, practicing with her “22” hat, and interacting with her dancers in the rehearsal area.
The lyrics reflect her introspective thoughts: “I’m so depressed, I act like it’s my birthday every day/I’m so obsessed with him but he avoids me like the plague,” she sings. “I cry a lot but I am so productive/It’s an art.”
Additionally, the video showcases performances of the Eras Tour at various moments, including rehearsals for the Tortured Poets Department segment and a glimpse of her memorable underwater dive that follows her surprise song section.
The video was released following her final performance at Wembley Stadium, where she was joined by Florence Welch for a duet of “Florida!!!” and Jack Antonoff for “Getaway Car” from the Reputation album. This was the first time Swift performed the song with Welch on tour. She also introduced The Tortured Poets Department’s track “So Long, London.”
Swift is set to take a break for two months before returning to the U.S. in October for performances in cities like Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Vancouver. During her time in London, she also met with two survivors of a stabbing incident in Southport, England, that targeted a Swift-themed yoga and dance workshop.
