Taylor Swift Brings Joy to Stabbing Survivors at Wembley

Taylor Swift recently met with two girls injured in a stabbing incident that occurred last month during a Swift-themed event in Southport, United Kingdom. The meeting took place backstage at her Eras Tour performance at Wembley Stadium in London.

The girls’ mother shared a heartwarming video on TikTok, showcasing the moment they posed with Swift and her mother, Andrea. The young girls wore t-shirts inspired by Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” music video.

In her post, Sami Foster expressed her gratitude, writing, “You drew stars around my scars …. The biggest thank you to @TaylorSwift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all thank you for bringing Hope & Autumn pure happiness last night & always.”

Following the stabbings on July 29 at a dance school event in Southport, where three young girls tragically lost their lives and nine others were injured, Swift shared her shock. The event was designed as a “Taylor Swift Yoga and Dance Workshop” for children aged 6 to 11.

Swift conveyed her sorrow in an Instagram Story, stating, “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to even convey my sympathies to these families.”

A 17-year-old boy from Banks, near Southport, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder related to the incident. According to authorities, the investigation is ongoing, but it is not being treated as a terrorism-related case, and police have confirmed there are no additional suspects being sought.
