Supervisor Dietitian Amir Begum emphasized that the initiative aimed to nourish both the body and the spirit during this festive season.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Begum elaborated on the importance of the meals crafted for the patients, stating, “This Christmas, our Nutrition Team had the privilege of preparing meals that brought both comfort and celebration to our patients.” She pointed out that in Fiji, the lovo—an earth-oven feast—serves as a powerful way to celebrate and symbolizes values of togetherness, culture, and the joy of communal sharing.
