Taste the Magic: Cincinnati’s Culinary Celebration Returns!

CINCINNATI – This weekend, downtown Cincinnati will come alive as the 46th annual Taste of Cincinnati is expected to draw around 600,000 attendees, showcasing the city’s diverse culinary scene. The event, featuring over 70 food vendors and a dozen beverage vendors, aims to celebrate the variety of flavors that Cincinnati has to offer.

Taste of Cincinnati will run from Saturday, May 24, to Monday, May 26, with hours set from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday. The festivities will take place on Fourth blocks of Fifth Street between Main and Sentinel streets, which will be closed for the event.

This year’s vendors include a wide range of culinary options, from the likes of Alfio’s Buon Cibo and Baby Cakes Mini Pancakes to MamaAfrique Nigerian Cuisine and The Cheesecakery. Attendees will also be able to experience a “Taste of Findlay Market” at Fifth and Broadway streets, which is anticipated to host the largest traffic and vendor participation.

Among the culinary awards, several dishes have been recognized with “Best of Taste” ribbons, including Alfio’s Buon Cibo’s Braised Short Rib over Gnocchi and The Cheesecakery’s Black Raspberry Chip Cheesecake Cupcake, enticing food lovers from all walks of life.

Additionally, visitors will be treated to live music throughout the weekend on multiple stages, featuring a diverse lineup of local artists. Road closures began on Wednesday for preparation, with various detours in place for motorists.
