Weekend Weather and Local Events for Tampa Bay
Weekend Weather
A west wind will push Gulf moisture inland this weekend, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area. It won’t rain all day, but you can expect a few batches of storms on both days. Highs will dip into the upper 80s to around 90, with a light onshore breeze steering storm movement eastward. Morning activity is expected to be more widespread on our side of the state, with most storms winding up on the far side of the state later in the day.
Beach and Boating
Beach conditions won’t be ideal this weekend due to frequent storms drifting in from the Gulf, though there will be stretches of time without rain. Boating may also be disrupted by the west wind and scattered storms, but if you time it right, there will be gaps where you can head out.
