Swift Back at Practice as Bears Prep for Steelers Showdown

Running back D’Andre Swift has made a successful return to full practice with the Bears on Thursday, following a hip issue that had previously limited his participation. This positive development suggests he is on track to play in the upcoming game against the Steelers on Sunday. The team is expected to provide injury designations for players prior to the game, which is scheduled for Friday.

In addition to Swift, cornerback Jaylon Johnson and safety Jaquan Brisker have also returned to full practice. Johnson, who had been limited on Wednesday due to a groin injury, and Brisker, who missed practice earlier due to a shoulder issue, both appear ready to contribute this weekend.

The Bears did face some setbacks, however, as running back Roschon Johnson was added to the injury report with a thumb issue, resulting in his absence from practice. Other players missing practice included linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (groin), linebacker T.J. Edwards (hand, hamstring), running back Travis Homer (hamstring, knee), linebacker Noah Sewell (elbow), and left guard Joe Thuney (rest).

Meanwhile, several key players had limited participation. These included left tackle Theo Benedet (quad), center Drew Dalman (knee), cornerback Kyler Gordon (calf), cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (hip, calf), and right tackle Darnell Wright (pec, back).

Overall, the returning players may provide a significant boost to the Bears as they prepare for their matchup against the Steelers, offering hope for improved performance on the field. With injury updates expected soon, fans will be eagerly anticipating the final roster leading into Sunday’s game.
