Survivor is returning to Fiji with 18 new castaways for its 49th season, offering another round of Outwit, Outplay, Outlast. The two-hour premiere is set for Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c on CBS and Paramount+, followed by 90-minute episodes each week beginning Oct. 1.
The cast brings a wide range of backgrounds, from entertainment and law to science and wellness. Notable entrants include former Marvel producer Nate Moore, a financial crime consultant, a wellness specialist, and a rocket scientist. Two of the players from this batch will later compete in Survivor’s landmark 50th season, titled In the Hands of the Fans, which is scheduled to premiere early next year; those identities will be announced at a later date.
The Season 50 lineup was previously announced in May and includes high-profile names such as Mike White of The White Lotus, former winners Dee Valladares and Kyle Fraser, and fan favorites Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth.
