Xaviar Babudar, known as “Chiefsaholic,” has been sentenced to 32 years in an Oklahoma prison following a series of criminal activities that include armed robbery and assault. A Tulsa County judge convicted Babudar on multiple charges, including one count of robbery with a firearm, one count of assault while masked or disguised, and another for removing an electronic monitoring device.

Previously, Babudar received a 17-year federal prison sentence for committing 11 bank robberies across seven states, including Oklahoma, amassing a total of $847,725. According to officials, the funds were intended to finance his travels to Kansas City Chiefs games, leveraging his social media presence as a passionate superfan who often sported a wolf costume adorned in Chiefs gear.

In December 2022, Babudar attempted to rob the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in Bixby, during which he threatened a teller while brandishing a BB gun. The district attorney described Babudar’s actions as violent and traumatic for the victims involved, emphasizing the impact of his criminal behavior on numerous individuals across the country.

Notably, after his Bixby arrest, Babudar was released on bond but subsequently removed his ankle monitor, leading to his absence from a court date. He was eventually located months later in California. The judge ruled that his state sentence will run concurrently with his federal prison time, meaning he will serve 17.5 years in federal custody before proceeding to Oklahoma to complete the remainder of his sentence.

The case highlights concerns about repeat offenders and underscores the importance of stringent sentencing in ensuring public safety. Babudar’s story serves as a reminder of the repercussions of criminal behavior, particularly how a person’s public persona can mask serious underlying issues.
