Sukuna Bowl 2025 Secures Major Sponsorship from Shop N Save and Remington Fiji

Shop N Save and Remington Fiji Limited have come together to offer substantial financial support for the upcoming 2025 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament. At a recent handover ceremony held at Police Headquarters, representatives from both companies presented their contributions to Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu.

Mohammed Bari, Managing Director of Remington Fiji Limited, expressed the company’s pride in aligning with the Sukuna Bowl Games, underscoring its significance as a national sporting event that promotes unity and teamwork among the communities of Fiji. Vijay Krishna, Head of Marketing for Shop N Save, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the Fiji Police Force and the importance of their longstanding partnership as they work towards enhancing the tournament.

Commissioner Tudravu voiced his appreciation for the generous contributions from both organizations. He acknowledged the increased challenges in organizing a large-scale tournament, pointing out that rising expenses are anticipated this year due to the addition of three games in Labasa for the first time. “This year, expenses are anticipated to increase as we introduce three games in Labasa for the first time,” he stated.

Scheduled to take place from November 17 to 19 in Suva, the tournament will culminate with events on November 20 and 21 at Subrail Park in Labasa. A variety of sports will be featured, including soccer, women’s rugby, and the main rugby clash, promising an exhilarating weekend of competition.

The collaboration between Shop N Save and Remington Fiji Limited serves as an encouraging example of how private enterprises and public institutions can unite to enhance community engagement through sports.
