This warning is in effect until 4:45 AM EST and includes regions such as Southern Hunterdon County, Southeastern Berks, Southeastern Lehigh, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester Counties, and Southwestern Northampton County.

As of 4:00 AM EST, a severe snow squall was detected moving southeast at approximately 45 mph. This weather phenomenon is characterized by intense bursts of heavy snowfall accompanied by gusty winds, which can lead to rapidly deteriorating visibility and significant blowing snow. Wind gusts may reach up to 35 mph, amplifying the hazardous conditions.

Travel is expected to become increasingly dangerous within minutes as the snow squall advances. Key locations that will be affected by this warning include Allentown, Reading, West Chester, Bethlehem, Norristown, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, and Doylestown among others.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures, such as reducing speed and remaining alert to the sudden changes in visibility and road conditions that this snow squall can bring. Whiteout conditions are a serious concern, and drivers should exercise extreme caution if traveling during this alert period.
