The turf was notably poor during a recent game, where Steelers kicker Chris Boswell lost his footing on a critical field goal attempt, yet the Steelers secured their first divisional victory of the season against the Cleveland Browns.
Following the game, Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers described the field as “borderline unplayable,” drawing attention to its inadequacy. Head coach Mike Tomlin echoed this sentiment during a press conference, stating, “I thought it was poor yesterday,” while adding that he was not worried about future games since the turf is set to be replaced.
