Steelers Extend AFC North Lead Ahead of Week 6 Clash in Cleveland

As the regular season reaches its fifth week, the Pittsburgh Steelers are firmly positioned at the top of the AFC North, further solidifying their dominance following losses by their divisional rivals: the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals.

In an intense clash, the Browns engaged in a competitive international matchup against the Minnesota Vikings but fell short, allowing a last-minute touchdown that led to a 21-17 defeat. Meanwhile, the Ravens, minus their star quarterback Lamar Jackson, suffered a significant loss against the Houston Texans, being dominated 44-10. The Bengals attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter during their matchup against the Detroit Lions but ultimately came up short, losing 37-24.

Following Week 5, the Steelers stand tall with an impressive record of 3-1, ahead of the Bengals at 2-3, while the Ravens and Browns trail with 1-4 records.

Looking ahead, the Steelers will prepare for their third AFC North matchup of the season as they travel to Cleveland for Week 6. The revamped Browns will aim to disrupt Pittsburgh’s momentum and seek a much-needed victory.
